Routine follow-up appoints

2 weeks: Dr Nair or GP (country patients)

  • This is a clinical review including an assessment of the healing process
  • You do not need a new referral
  • Please bring all relevant medical imaging

 

6-8 weeks: Dr Nair

  • This is a clinical as well as radiological review

You will be asked to have X-rays and perhaps a MRI and/or CT scan depending on the individual case

6 months, 1 year, 3 year and every 5 years

These appointments are for clinical and perhaps radiological review

You will be asked to have X-rays and perhaps a MRI and/or CT scan depending on the individual case

If you have concerns do the following, “escalating up the ladder” as necessary.

  • Contact Dr Nair’s office
  • Contact your GP
  • Contact the hospital where you had your surgery
  • If you had surgery in Norwest Private, you may attend the private emergency department in Norwest Hospital.
