Initial Consultation

Your first consultation will be focused on diagnosing your spinal condition and determining what, if any, surgery is required. This visit takes about 30 minutes and you will be seen by Dr Anil Nair.  Dr Anil Nair will obtain a detailed history of your spinal condition, perform a focus physical examination and review films as well as reports of relevant medical imaging. If appropriate, he may refer you for further medical imaging (ie MRI scans) and/or for physical therapy .  There is a fee payable on the day for this consultation, some of which you will get back from Medicare. If you are an approved Work Cover Patient, no fee will be payable. You are encouraged to bring a referral from your GP or medical specialist, in order to facilitate the medicare rebate process.
